Communities across Louisiana are gaining expanded access to free healthcare services through a series of clinics designed to meet a wide range of medical needs.
The Love Heals Free Clinics are being held in multiple cities across the state, bringing medical, dental, and vision care directly into local communities. The initiative builds on previous efforts that have already served thousands of patients in the Baton Rouge area and is now expanding to reach additional regions.
These clinics provide services at no cost, including eye exams and prescription glasses, dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions, as well as general medical exams, chronic disease care, and access to prescription medications.
“A healthier Louisiana is at the core of our mission, and access to preventive, vision, and dental care plays a critical role in overall wellness,” said Dr. Stewart Gordon, Chief Medical Officer of Louisiana Healthcare Connections. “These clinics allow us to extend care beyond traditional settings and reach individuals who may not otherwise have access to services.”
Clinic dates and locations include:
- Baton Rouge
June 15 at F.G. Clark Activity Center - Opelousas
June 17 at Opelousas Civic Center - Alexandria
June 20 at Peabody High School - Shreveport
June 22 at Shreveport Convention Center
In addition to clinical services, these events reflect strong partnerships with community organizations and volunteers who help make care accessible to those in need.
By bringing services directly into communities, these clinics help reduce barriers to care and improve access to essential health services for individuals and families across Louisiana.
